Considering adding a kitchen or a bathroom?

For a bathroom, we suggest allocating an additional $20,000 to your budget. This cost covers the installation of all fixtures, a water heater, and connection to the sewer system.

For a kitchenette, expect to allocate approximately $7,000 to $8,000.

Additional costs may apply pending your requirements and your property. These include:
 

  • Site access & condition

  • Bush fire rating

  • Regional install charge
     

Council Matters

Our studios are certified habitable structures that adhere to residential building codes and council regulations. We're here to guide you through the Council process.

 

Approval pathways may differ based on your property and intended usage.

 

In most cases, the Complying Development Certification process is applicable (Estimated Budget: $8,000).

 

Should you need assistance with a Development Application, we're here to help (Estimated Budget: $13,000).

 

Alternatively, you can opt for a non-habitable structure (e.g., sheds, cabanas), which typically do not require council approval. This choice depends on your desired use.

Lead Time

Expect a 3-4 month delivery period, followed by a 1-month on-site installation before your studio is ready for use.
