This project was built in Epping, Sydney. The homeowner recently transformed their garden with a sleek backyard studio. The 4x6m footprint (24m², with 19m² of interior space) offers a surprising amount of living area without overwhelming the backyard. Built with premium materials, fiber cement cladding, a steel frame, double-glazed sliding doors, and powder-coated aluminium flashings, the studio is designed to last. For this project, the owner wanted the backyard studio to serve as both a teenager’s retreat and a guest bedroom.
